My background in human resources development spans more than 20 years and every human resources function, with coaching, employee development, talent assessment, performance management, engagement and organizational effectiveness as the highlights. Responsible for recruitment and employee relations, I got to deeply understand the employment market and employers’ talent needs. I coached and counseled individuals at all levels, and with a foundation of trust, I provided insights and equipped them to take charge of their own destinies. I developed a keen interest assessment tools and I began to work with others to explore and leverage their values, unique talents, passions and ways of working.

And despite a successful career, I wasn't happy doing what I was doing and my family wasn't getting the best of me. So, I took some time to reflect on what I wanted my life to be like.

And I left my 23 year career in corporate human resources.

I decided to take my knowledge, skills and experience and apply them in a slightly different way to impact people more directly AND achieve my other personal goals. I reconnected with my life's purpose and set out on a mission to collaborate with others to reconnect with themselves, develop better relationships, and create more meaning and joy in their lives.

People who work with me get unstuck, find themselves, communicate better, develop confidence and resilience, and get results faster in the areas of their lives they want to improve.

Since going into private practice I've become a life coach, career coach, outplacement counselor, HR consultant, speaker, blogger, and syndicated writer, sharing my message in many forms.

I haven't looked back. And you won't either.

I earned a B.A. in Sociology with distinction, and with further post-secondary studies and experience, I was granted the Certified HR Leader (CHRL) designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association.

I bring education and 25 years of hands-on experience in HR, people development, and employee relations to your situation.

I am a certified Career Development Coaching Specialist, received life coach training through the Institute for Life Coach Training, and became an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. I am also a Certified Life Purpose Coach.

You get an experienced, certified coach, who uses a tried-and-true coaching framework to get results.

I am also a certified MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type I and II) and Strong Interest Inventory® practitioner and I am qualified to utilize the Awaken Your Heart Magnet and From Stressed to Best programs.
